The dollars are where it gets interesting. On a 2 ct emerald solitaire listed at $2,000, 25% takes off $500. On a loose 1 ct lab diamond listed at $360, the most it can save is $90.

When is the Clean Origin Black Friday sale in 2026?
It started October 27, 2026. Clean Origin's promo terms list a 25% Off Sitewide Event from October 27 through December 25, 2026, Eastern Time. You don't need a code.
We found no separate Black Friday page. The clue sits in the fine print: the 25% event excludes items marked "BFCM" or "Holiday Exclusives," which suggests a few Black Friday pieces with their own pricing. We found no dated record of a Clean Origin Black Friday discount for 2023, 2024 or 2025.
Clean Origin went from no sales to rolling sales. Through 2023 it said it didn't discount. Since the 2024 sale of its assets, sales have become regular.
25% is the house number in 2026. It ran in August and September, and it's back now. Black Friday sits inside a two-month event at the same rate.

How much does 25% off really save on a 1 ct to 2 ct ring?
Between $362 and $525 on the rings above. That's the honest range.
Here's why it isn't more. On October 27, Clean Origin listed 1.00 ct loose lab diamonds (D color, VS2 clarity) at $360, and its homepage showed 2 ct loose lab diamonds at $700.
Grades vary, but doubling the weight added only about $340. Now set that $700 stone beside the 2 ct emerald solitaire at $2,000 list. If its stone costs anything like the loose one, about $1,300 of that ring is setting, gold and labor.
So the 25% earns most of its money on the setting. A $360 stone saves you $90 at most. A $2,000 ring saves you $500.
Our call: if you're building your own ring, lock in the setting during this event. Upsizing the stone is the cheap part.
Settings vs loose stones: what the 25% covers
The terms apply the 25% to "merchandise" and keep loose diamonds in. Settings aren't on the exclusion list, so unless one carries a BFCM, Holiday Exclusives or Pure Value badge, the discount should apply. It's automatic, so if a cart line shows no discount, that item is excluded.
The $2,000 pendant line
None of the 1 to 2 ct rings above clear $2,000 after the 25%. The priciest lands at $1,575, so you'd need $425 more in the same order for the free pendant.
Don't chase it with filler. Return part of the order and drop below $2,000, and Clean Origin wants the pendant back or deducts $999 from your refund.
Is the 40% sample sale a better deal than 25% off?
On paper, yes. The 5 ct. tw. Oval Five Stone Lab Diamond Ring in 14K yellow gold was $2,199, down from $3,699. That's $1,500 off, about 40%, and it clears the $2,000 line for the free pendant.
The catch is the return. Sample sale items go back for store credit only, which never expires but never turns back into cash. On a standard 25% order, you pick refund or store credit.
Promo codes don't stack on sample sale prices. ID.me and the free gift still apply. One banner says 50% off, but the prices we saw worked out to about 40%.
Our call: buy from the sample sale only if you're certain of the style and the size. For a proposal ring, take the 25% and keep your cash refund.
Is Pure Value cheaper than the 25% sale?
Sometimes by a full carat. Pure Value pieces sit outside the 25% event, but Clean Origin markets them as its best everyday prices.
A 3 ct emerald solitaire in Pure Value costs $1,499. The certified 2 ct emerald solitaire costs $1,500 after the 25%.
The trade-off: Pure Value pieces come without certification and can't be customized. Want a grading report? Buy the certified 2 ct.
How do returns and resizing work on a Black Friday order?
The 60-day return window
Clean Origin gives you 60 days from when your order is ready for delivery or pickup, and the item must be back by day 60. We found no holiday extension. An order ready on November 27 hits day 60 on January 26, 2027, which clears Christmas and New Year's Eve proposals.
Return shipping is free in the US. Skip the return authorization code or the required packaging and you risk a $150 restocking fee. A missing diamond certificate costs $100.
The resizing trap
US buyers get one free resize on standard ring styles within 60 days of shipment, taking 1 to 3 weeks. Eternity bands can't be resized.
Here's the trap: resized or exchanged orders become final sale. Resize after the yes, not before.
How Brilliant Earth compares on Black Friday
Brilliant Earth gives you 30 days to return, half of Clean Origin's window. It says it doesn't discount engagement rings and runs gifts with purchase instead. Want a percentage off a ring? Clean Origin is the one cutting prices.
Can you buy from Clean Origin in the UK?
Not easily. Clean Origin sells in US dollars only, and cleanorigin.co.uk belongs to an unrelated cleaning company. UK orders ship by FedEx International Priority, you pay duties and VAT, and free return labels are US only.

Clean Origin had a 4.1 TrustScore from 315 Trustpilot reviews on October 27, 2026. Reviewers praise how the diamonds look. Complaints cluster around made-to-order lead times, which Clean Origin calls estimates, not guarantees.
